Live joyful and free...

We are alive,
And our hearts are beating,
Yet our mind flutters
With thoughts that are fleeting.

Beauty of the skies,
Or clouds that fly,
Flowers that bloom,
Or the shine of the moon.

Rays of the sun,
Or stars that glisten,
Birds that sing,
With winds which swing.

We ignore all this,
And fail to listen,
That time also is fleeting,
And the world is waiting.

To get explored,
With eyes wide open,
To cherish each moment,
As a gift, a token.

Step out of the shadows,
Embrace the light,
See the wonders around,
Whether day or night.

For life is a journey,
A path to be trod,
To marvel at nature,
Walking hand in hand with God.

So let's pause and savour,
The beauty we see,
And live in the present,
Joyful and free.
