Embracing Light of the Moon...
In the bustling life of cities we are often engulfed by the compulsions of living in concrete jungles so much so that we forget to look up to the skies and are oblivious to it's beauty. Behind the pigeon nets put up on windows and amidst our mundane existence, the moon continues to shine quietly, like a beacon of hope and serenity in the skies.
In all its phases, the moon serves as a gentle reminder that even in our darkest moments, there is light to be found if we simply choose to seek it. The moon keeps whispering to us: “I am here to quell your darkness and I keep reflecting light but only if you find ways to look at me.”
Unlike the sun, which constantly gives us bright light, the moon offers a more subtle glow. It waxes and wanes, sometimes appearing large and bright on full moon, other times dull or shy and even hiding from our view during amaavas or the new moon.
However despite its imperfections with craters and dark patches the moon looks beautiful and reflects light beautifully, demonstrating resilience against its own imperfections. It reminds us that we are all imperfect beings, navigating through our own struggles, but we can still shine brightly just like it does.
The essence of the moon lies in its ability to reflect light back into the world, prompting us to do the same in our lives. It teaches us that while we may face our own shadows, embracing our light can illuminate the path not only for ourselves but also for those around us.
So, the next time you feel overwhelmed by the weight of the world, take a moment to look up at the moon. Let its serene glow remind you to keep reflecting light, no matter how daunting the circumstances may seem. Remember, it’s not about being like the sun or the stars but about finding joy and purpose in simply being yourself, reflecting light and hope like the moon into a world that often feels so dark...
